Digital Enterprise

Digital Enterprise is a programme partly funded by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund 2014-2020), the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and by nine of the local authorities that make up the Leeds city Region. There are currently three different elements to the programme including:

A Digital Growth Voucher - a grant worth between £2,000 to £12,500 to help eligible businesses invest in digital technology to achieve growth and digital transformation. This could typically fund up to 50% of the cost of Apple computer equipment, Daylite CRM software, consultancy and training.
A Connectivity+ Voucher - to help eligible businesses to upgrade their digital connection - worth between £500 to £3,000.
Free to attend workshops, masterclasses, digital conferences and mentoring support through their new Digital Knowledge Exchange service.

The key aims of the programme are:

To help businesses across the Leeds city region to improve their performance by investing in the appropriate digital technologies that help them to scale up.
To help businesses improve their awareness about the range of digital solutions available to help them grow, so that they become smarter consumers of digital technologies.
Helping local businesses to acquire knowledge and skills in using digital technologies that are appropriate to their needs, including faster digital connectivity, enhanced digital marketing, customer relationship management (CRM) software for small firms and the benefits of networking and cloud based solutions for business resilience, security and flexibility.

The eligibility criteria for participating in Digital Enterprise are:

Businesses must be based in the Leeds City Region (see map below).
Predominantly operate B2B.
Employ fewer than 250 employees.
With a turnover below €50 million p/a (approximately £43 million)
With a balance sheet total below €43 million (approximately £37 million), and
Have received less than €200k (£185k) of State Aid in the last 3 years.
